Allow Me to Introduce Myself…
As a frequent reader of Daily Tomorrow, I was sad to see Ali’s last post. As a writer, blogger, wanna-be mom who is trying to minimize my own footprint before adding any more little feet to the world, I am thrilled at the opportunity to carry on the blog that Ali has developed as such a wonderful a resource for anyone interested in eco-living.
You may know me from my other b5 Science and Health blog Fertility Notes, where lately, giving you all the news your womb can use has ventured more and more into topics that could just as easily be found here at Daily Tomorrow. Like these, for example:
- The Greening of Me – Part I and Part II – where I discuss VHEMT, The Voluntary Human Extinction Movement, and more rational ways to work towards a better tomorrow while not giving up the idea of sharing it with offspring.
- An Alternative to the Tampax Plan - Goods 4 Girls offers a much more sustainable and earth-friendly way to “use your period for good.”
- You Mean You’ll Actually Tell Us What We’re Drinking Now? Gee. Thanks – Pennsylvania finally decides it might make some sense to tell consumers whether or not artificial growth hormones were used in the production of milk.
- Is It In Us – As if you needed another reason to ditch your old plastics, read about Bisphenol A and the nasty, nasty things it can do to your fertility
- Today is Blog Action Day – On October 15, 2007 tens of thousands of bloggers united to talk about one topic – the environment. My theory: if Mother Earth herself is out of whack, then that may have some impact on our ability to procreate as well.
While connections between the health of the environment, healthful living and fertility are numerous, I’m looking forward to writing more about green living, upcoming eco events, reviewing earth-friendly products and many other topics that extend beyond how they affect our nether regions. So, hello!

Thanks Alicia! I loved it when Ali wrote it and I didn’t want to see it go. I hope I can maintain the quality and variety that Ali brought to Daily Tomorrow. I promise to do my best. :)
